ABOUT

Bob Leoni is a socially active investment advisor and financial planner through OnPath Financial, LLC (LPL FINANCIAL). He passionately believes that increasing the voice of our wealth is a crucial step in creating social, economic, and environmental sustainability.
Bob first learned about the “power of the dollar” upon his return home from his volunteer service in Gambia, West Africa. Afflicted with an eye injury, he returned to the US with severe loss of vision. Being cared for with state of the art medical attention reminded him of his closest Gambian friend, Hawa, who also suffered from severe vision loss in Africa. Bob leveraged his resources in his home town and raised over $25,000 to help Hawa receive the medical attention he needed and deserved. The leftover funds were then applied to help Hawa start his own business to become self-reliant.
From there he worked with Church World Service/CROP WALK in Oak Brook, who raises funds in the US through anti-hunger walk-a-thons. The funds support grassroots development projects both in the US and overseas.
Out of a desire to integrate the “power of the dollar” into his lifestyle and career, Bob became a Social Investment Activist in 2005. He has since opened his own full-service financial planning practice in 2008 through OnPath Financial, and enjoys helping his clients build wealth while promoting social justice.
Bob lives in Geneva, IL with his wife, daughter (3), son(1), and soon-to-be-born son.
